Musical Storytime

Celebrate the end of summer with art-making and performances for the entire family! Visitors of all ages and abilities are invited for Desert Rider inspired printmaking with artists from Xico Arte y Cultura. Create your own lowrider shadow box with Kathy Cano-Murillo, The Crafty Chica and artist Patrick Murillo. Don’t miss Musical Storytime performed by Arizona Opera at 12:30 PM and 1:30PM MST.

Creative Saturday is included with general admission and free for Museum members.

NEVER PLAY MUSIC RIGHT NEXT TO THE ZOO BY JOHN LITHGOW

This zany picture book follows a boy who attends a concert next to the zoo. Bored with the performance, he begins dozing off.
