ARIZONA OPERA ANNOUNCES TUCSON AUDITIONS FOR AMBASSADOR ARTISTS FOR THE 2023/2024 SEASON

HIRING ALL VOICE TYPES AND ACCOMPANISTS.

Experience an operatic recital, solo performance, and or lecture with the Arizona Opera Ambassadors! Designed for adult audiences, these performances range from one-time events and special celebrations to longer residencies with our community partners. The members of the Arizona Opera Ambassadors perform in regional opera tours, local and statewide community programs, as well as, Arizona Opera community alliance programs.

Audition Requirements:

Digital Auditions:

Applicants should submit video recordings of the following for their auditions:

• An aria or art song of your choice in English
• An aria or art song of your choice in a language other than English

Video Submissions are due June 15, 2023

• Optional in-person auditions will be held in PHX:
  • Wednesday, June 14, 2023 from 1 PM – 3 PM
  • Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 4 PM – 6 PM

Senior Center Tours:

• September-November (as reservations come in)

Main Stage Performance Ambassador

• Interact and engage with patrons in lobby prior to Main Stage performances to speak about Arizona Opera, the performance, and to be an ambassador for the company.

Other:

• This is a per-engagement position
• There is no housing or housing stipend provided for this position
• All applicants must have received a COVID-19 vaccination
