The romantic tale of the beautiful and frail seamstress Mimì, the poet Rodolfo and their circle of friends is one of the best loved operas of all time. Puccini's rapturous score captures the spirit of these 19th-century Bohemians living in Paris - friends who manage to dream and love in the face of poverty and illness, melting the hardest of hearts and leaving all others aching with nostalgia and longing.
Sung in Italian with English supertitles above the stage.
