The Magic Flute
The Arizona Opera is proud to present our inaugural summer Opera and Gelato Film Festival. This month’s the featured film is The Magic Flute, composed by Wolfgang Mozart. This opera was filmed in Milan’s famed Teatro alla Scala.
Pre-show activities begin at 1:00 p.m.
Screening beings at 2:00 p.m.
magical carnival for families to explore
In addition to our film screening, the Arizona Opera Atrium will be transformed into a magical carnival for families to explore. We’ll have two readings of The Magic Flute Story Time, complete with vocal showcases. There will be an instrument craft station for kids to make their very own magic flute and dragons! We'll also have a balloon twister to make all sorts of magical balloon creations!
Refreshments of gelato and wine will be available for purchase.
