Arizona Opera's School Tour introduces children to the world of opera in an accessible setting - their own school!
Each fall the tour brings opera into schools across the state. Each tour presents a one-hour long production complete with professional singers, accompanist, piano, sets, and costumes.
In 2009 the tour presents a new production of La bohème created especially for Arizona students. This bilingual, interactive program is forty minutes long and tailored for high school students.
In 2008 Arizona Opera toured The Mini Elixir of Love, adapted from Donizetti's The Elixir of Love. Click here to watch a scene from the production.
The Arizona Opera School Tour books quickly once announced. To have the insider scoop on what next year's production will be and how to register your school, sing up for the education e-newsletter and be one of the first to know.
