This fun-filled event invites friends and family of all ages to enjoy kid-friendly opera performances in English, perfect for introducing our young audiences to the magic of opera. With engaging activities, live music, and stories everyone can follow, it's a day of entertainment the whole family will love!

Join us 15 minutes after curtain for a Post-Show Talkback featuring a select few of our Main Stage Artists, Creatives, and Marion Roose Pullin Opera Studio you just saw on stage! In this Q&A style talkback, aritsts will share their experience working in the opera industry and Arizona Opera and what its like being on stage.

Talkback will take place immediately following the Sunday matinee of Madama Butterfly in Phoenix and the Saturday matinee in Tucson.

 


Say Hello to OperaOpera Guild Emblem

Presented by the Opera Guild of Southern Arizona, Say Hello to Opera gives a preview of each Arizona Opera production in the weeks leading up to the performance. Previews typically include historical and musical context on the piece as well as liver performances of musical selections performed by University of Arizona students.
