Opera Through the Ages – A Three-Part Series

Each lecture in this three-part series will take audiences on a journey from the origins of opera all the way to opera in the present day. Musical examples and performances are included in each lecture helping to guide you through each time period.

Arizona Opera and Ballet Arizona are proud to present Music Movement Breaks, a FREE digitally interactive tool that encourages your students to get up, dance, and have fun while learning important rhythm, listening, and movement skills. Whether used as a tool to teach important state standards, or just to take a break from virtual, hybrid, or in-person learning, these Music Movement Breaks are sure to get your students moving and dancing!

Join members of the Arizona Opera Education Department for Storytime with a musical twist! Each selected story is woven together with musical experts to enhance the story being presented.

Starting Friday, September 25 through December, we will be releasing a new musical story every two weeks! Be sure to follow us on social media, and sign up for our email list to enjoy each unique musical story.

Join us for our free, 30-minute lunchtime recitals each month at the Arizona Opera Center featuring the Marion Roose Pullin Arizona Opera Studio Artists. We invite you to step away from your desk and listen to world-class singing. You are welcome to bring your lunch. Registration is encouraged – please check the current Arizona Opera safety protocol’s before attending the event.
