Arizona Opera Cast Members & Creatives

Formed in 2005, Mariachi Pasion began on a whim by eight women in a music class at Arizona State University. It has grown into a 12-member group with the majority having worked their way through their respective colleges by playing mariachi music. Current members of Mariachi Pasion are chemical engineers, educators, financial planners, health care professionals, marketers, and also current students at Arizona State University. The heart of Mariachi Pasion is the common love and respect for mariachi music, and its soul is based in the desire to perform in an all-female mariachi group.
