Arlyn M. Brewster Tucson OperaTunity Troupe hiring Baritone and Pianist
The Arlyn M. Brewster Tucson OperaTunity Troupe travels to area schools performing all-school assemblies of various adapted operas for elementary and middle school aged students. The troupe performs over 65 shows for over 10,000 students from September - December.
This year’s show is Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?, adapted from Mozart’s Don Giovanni, performed in English.
- This is a part time position, no housing or housing stipend is provided
- Troupe members are expected to be available September 1 – December 13, 2024. Rehearsals will be between Sept 3rd – 20th (to be determined when full troupe is hired). The tour begins on September 23rd.
- Day/hour commitments are roughly:
- Monday – 8 AM – 3 PM
- Tuesday – 8 AM – 12 PM
- Wednesday – OFF
- Thursday – 8 AM – 12
- Friday – 8 AM – 12

Vocalists:
Please provide two selections:
- Any Mozart aria of your choice
- An aria or art song in English
Pianists:
Each auditioner is to prepare 2 selections, as follows:
