Arizona Opera Cast Members & Creatives

Becky Giblin has been working as a theatre professional for more than 15 years. She has been the Master Stitcher in the Marlu Allan and Scott Stallard Costume Artisan Workshop since September 2017. During her time with Arizona Opera, she has helped guide costume shop apprentices in improving and refining their skills, all while helping ensure that every costume piece in an Arizona Opera performance is completed to the highest standard.

Since moving to Arizona, she has also been an overhire stitcher for multiple companies around the Phoenix Valley; including The Phoenix Theatre Company, American Theatre Guild, Blue Collar Costumes, Southwest Shakespeare Company, and The Super Bowl LVII Rihanna Halftime Show.

Prior to her work with Arizona Opera, she was the staff stitcher for the Pacific Conservatory Theatre (PCPA) in California. There, she helped instruct interns and students learn the skills they would need to continue working in the costume and technical theater world.

Becky is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh earning a Bachelor of Arts with an emphasis in Theater Design/Technology. She then went on to complete a Technical Theater Internship at The Pacific Conservatory Theatre (PCPA) in the costume shop.
