Due to the current climate surrounding COVID-19, Arizona Opera has announced a "Reimagined 2020/21 Season," which will inlcude the presentation of live, outdoor performances and innovative digital offerings, replacing it's previously planned in-theater productions. This season's focus will be on creativity and connection, including the development of the companies forst motion picture adaptation of an Opera!
Our traditional book club format features a slection of books that related back to the titles being presented in our season. This year offers us a unique opportunity to explore books about the opera artform that may expand beyond what we would traditionally select as our book club offerings.
As important members of our book club, Arizona Opera wants your thoughts and suggestions about what YOU want to read this year!
In the below form, please share your suggestions of what books you would like to see as selections for the 20/21 book club season.
Our only rule is that the books somehow relate back to opera and/or the arts!
Both fiction and non-ficton suggestions are welcome.
