Arizona Opera Film Festival

Tony Award–winner Julie Taymor matches the magic and mystery of Mozart’s timeless fable with a staging that bursts to life with vivid colors, intricate costumes, and inventive puppetry. Recorded live from the Met stage in 2017, this performance features a cast of young stars, including sopranos Golda Schultz and Kathryn Lewek, tenor Charles Castronovo, and baritone Markus Werba.

Due to the current prevalence of COVID-19 and the Delta variant, Arizona Opera requires all Film Festival attendees to provide a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of the screening date. Attendees providing Arizona Opera with proof of full COVID-19 vaccination will be granted an exception to this requirement. Masks will be required for all attendees.
