Musical Storytime with Arizona Opera

Join members of the Arizona Opera Education Department every two weeks VIRTUALLY for Storytime with a musical twist! Travel with us as we visit Cinderella, explore the forest with Hansel and Gretel, take up residence at The Metropolitan Opera House, and more! Each selected story is woven together with musical experts to enhance the story being presented.

Starting Friday, September 25, 2020 through December, we will be releasing a new musical story every two weeks! Be sure to follow us on social media and sign up for our email list to enjoy each unique musical story.

Story 4: Never Play Music Right NEXT TO THE ZOO BY JOHN LITHGOW

This zany picture book follows a boy who attends a concert next to the zoo. Bored with the performance, he begins dozing off. Suddenly the concert gets out of hand when the zoo animals storm the stage and play the instruments themselves!
