Atlanta Opera’s 2023 production of Leonard Bernstein’s best-known operetta comes to Arizona Opera’s Film Festival. The innocent Candide discovers that human beings aren’t all they are cracked up to be and ultimately focuses on building his own life on his own terms. Featuring modern classics “Glitter and Be Gay,” “Make our Garden Grow,” and a rip-roaring Overture for the ages. Deanna Breiwick and Jack Swanson star.
