JAPANESE CULTURAL FESTIVAL

Celebrate Puccini’s masterpiece Madama Butterfly with a celebration of Japanese culture, featuring a showcase of traditional dance, music and various art forms native to Japan.

This Event!

The Arizona Opera Center plaza will be ringing with the sound of taiko drums. This visceral, musical experience is a wonderful way to learn about the rhythms and music of Japan. 

Presented in collaboration with the Japanese Culture Club of Arizona and with generous sponsorship from the Phoenix At Museum Asian Arts Council and Blue Cross Blue Shield.
