During the summer of 2019, David was an Emerging Artist at Seagle Music Colony where he starred as Curly (Oklahoma!), Senator Thomas Jordan (The Manchurian Candidate), and Count Almaviva (The Marriage of Figaro). A recent graduate from the Master of Music program in Opera Performance at Arizona State University, Nelson was seen as Elviro (Serse), Sam (Trouble in Tahiti), Fred (Kiss Me Kate), Lysander (The Fairy Queen), The Artist Martinez (Behold the Man), and a featured soloist in Bernstein's Mass.
