David Beame
David Beame is a live event and broadcast executive producer and entertainment attorney. Over the past decade, David has served as the Vice President, Events and Broadcasts, at Global Citizen and has produced some of the largest and most notable purpose-driven festivals and live broadcasts throughout the world including the annual Global Citizen Festival on the Great Lawn in NYC as well as festivals in India, South Africa, and Europe. The televised and digital broadcasts from these shows and the more recent One World: Together At Home and Global Goal: Unite For Our Future, have been seen by hundreds of millions of people throughout the world. He is especially proud to be part of a team working towards ending extreme poverty.
David’s expertise lies in directing and overseeing all elements of the live experience while also negotiating and structuring production, artist, sponsor, broadcast, and distribution agreements. Past performers include Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Coldplay, Rihanna, Pearl Jam, Stevie Wonder, Queen + Adam Lambert, Ed Sheeran, and Neil Young, along with celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey, Hugh Jackman, Leonardo Dicaprio, Kerry Washington, and Stephen Colbert, and dignitaries including President Biden, First Lady Michelle Obama, Former UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon, and Prime Minister Modi of India.
As a partner in his law firm, David is a deal maker who counsels and guides the careers and projects of artists and creative entrepreneurs in music, film, television and digital. Through his sharp business acumen, industry relationships and insightful and thorough legal advice, David has negotiated and structured millions of dollars of entertainment related transactions. He has guided the careers of developing artists, songwriters and producers from the initial stages of their careers through to global recognition.
David is a graduate of New World School of the Arts, received two bachelor of arts degrees from Boston University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law.
