Tailoring Workshop (Day 2)
Join members of the Arizona Opera Marlu Allan and Scott Stallard Costume Artisan Workshop and guest artist Kelly Hawkinson in this Tailoring Workshop.
Topics include fabrics, how to create pockets, measuring and patterning preparation, and more. You’ll not only learn comprehensive tailoring knowledge, but also leave with an 1840's style vest that you completed!

Meet the Instructor:
Kelly Hawkinson has a rich background in costume construction and design, from Broadway to film and television. She has been working as an artist in New York City for over a decade, spending several seasons at a costume shop at The Metropolitan Opera. Her work has been seen in acclaimed stage productions such as Cinderella and The Lion King, and on screens in The Greatest Showman, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and more.
