Student Preview

Aida
Thursday, April 10, 2025 - 7:00 PM (Phoenix)

Special tickets are available for the final dress rehearsal performance of every opera. These previews are reserved exclusively for students to get swept away by great music and stories - while enhancing classroom learning.

The splendor of Egypt comes to life through this visually arresting, projection-based concert production of Verdi’s Aida in its first Arizona Opera performances in over a decade. Featuring some of the most breathtaking music in the operatic repertoire, Aida tells the story of forbidden love amidst political intrigue and war. As the looming shadow of war envelops the sands of Egypt, Princess Aida confronts the challenges posed by a web of love, loyalty, and betrayal.

Part of the Arizona Opera Main Stage Series and the Marlu Allan and Scott Stallard Family Series. Production made possible, in part, through generous support from Tucson Desert Song Festival, Jeannette J. Segel, The Julia Pernet Fund held at the Community Foundation of Southern Arizona, and Arizona 5 Arts Circle.
