Inspired by the enchanting score of Antonín Dvořák, this family-friendly adaptation reimagines the beloved fairy tale of the little mermaid with soaring melodies, whimsical storytelling, and an abridged format perfect for audiences of all ages. Join us for a captivating live performance that introduces young listeners and arts lovers alike to the magic of opera in an engaging and accessible way.

In addition to the performance, stop by Arizona Opera’s interactive booth for hands-on fun! Create your own wave drum to bring the sounds of the sea to life, design a colorful “Bravo!” sign to cheer on the performers, and snap a photo with a special set piece straight from the world of Rusalka. It’s an immersive arts experience that blends music, creativity, and imagination perfect for the whole family.
