AZ Opera meets $1M challenge, erases debt

Arizona Opera raised $500,000 in donations since May 1, matching a $500,000 gift from an anonymous donor as part of its second Million Dollar May blitz campaign. The money raised should effectively erase the company’s outstanding debt and put a few bucks in its bank account, Arizona Opera’s General Director Ryan Taylor has said.
