A kid-friendly first: mariachi opera

Raising Arizona Kids Magazine highlights Cruzar la Cara de la Luna as the perfect performance to get anyone into the opera, especially children. One of the major roles of the show is played by Rodrigo de Leon Bran, a Phoenix local 9-year-old student. The use of the Mariachi band bring a new dynamic of excitement to the opera. The story is even described as something that could be found in a Disney movie.
