The Daughter of the Regiment
Review: Feel free to laugh at Arizona Opera's 'Daughter'
A review of Arizona Opera's The Daughter of the Regiment by the Arizona Daily Start has nothing but great things to say. Cathalena E. Burch says the beginning of the article that it is "too bad you can't rewind live performances." Besides seeing Didi Conn in an opera, Burch also expresses how beautiful the singing was from the other cast members. The overall take away from the review was how great the Arizona Opera's production of The Daughter of the Regiment was.
"[Soprano Susannah Biller] soars to that high register and never once does her beautiful, goose bumps-inducing soprano fade or weaken beneath the stain of Donizetti’s challenging writing."
