In depth: Full financial numbers on metro Phoenix arts organizations
The AZ Republic analized data from nine top organizations, all multimillion-dollar non-profits, that produce performing and visual arts programming in the Valley. The numbers were provided by the Arizona Commission on the Arts, which collects the information as part of the annual grant-application process and partners with the national Cultural Data Project to analyze the finances and audiences of arts groups.
The numbers cover three years – in most cases, the July-through-June fiscal years through mid-2014 – because these companies are still auditing their numbers from the 2014-15 season.
