Musical Storytime with Arizona Opera

Topics include opera history, performance anxiety, career development, and mental and physical health

Arizona Opera’s Educational Teaching Artists are ready to bring these vital arts topics right to your home. Intended for students in grades 6 – 12, Arizona Opera is offering four virtual sessions for students learning from home. Registration is free and students can sign up for as many classes as they would like.

   

 


Musical Storytime with Arizona Opera

Musical Storytime with Arizona Opera

Join members of the Arizona Opera Education Department every two weeks for Storytime with a musical twist! Each selected story is woven together with musical experts to enhance the story being presented.

Starting Friday, September 25 through December, we will be releasing a new musical story every two weeks! Be sure to follow us on social media, and sign up for our email list to enjoy each unique musical story.

Student Night at the OperaStudent Night

Special tickets are available for the final dress rehearsal performance of every mainstage opera. These nights are reserved specifically for students to get swept away by great music and stories–while enhancing classroom learning.

 

Tucson Seats-for-Students Seats for Students

Special tickets are reserved for students to attend the Saturday mainstage performances at Tucson Music Hall. Registration is required and seats are very limited.

 

Opera & Gelato Film FestivalOpera and Gelato Image

This collection of opera film’s–screened in June, July, and August is the perfect way to get a summertime opera fix while escaping the Arizona Heat. The second film in the series is chosen with youth in mind and includes delicious FROST gelato and family-friendly activities.

Arizona Opera’s Opera at your School program comes to the Roma & Raymond Wittcoff Black Box Theatre for one day only. This event features a live performance of our current traveling adapted opera, arts & crafts, a photo booth, and more!
