AZ Opera ignites passionate season, community festivals

Passion, mysticism and a touch of the West West fire up Arizona Opera's stage this season. A love affair with the Southwest kicks off in October with the first major United States opera house premiere of Emmerich Kálmán's musical treasure "Arizona Lady." Written in the 50s and set on a cattle ranch in Tucson, it delivers a big Hollywood musical sound.
