Lovers of great music, rejoice! Welcome to Arizona Arias Episode 2, a dazzling pre-recorded concert featuring breathtaking musical selections from some of opera’s most monumental and beloved works.
From Daughter of the Regiment to Pagliacci and The Barber of Seville, and from Don Pasquale to Carmen, Cosi fan tutte and more, you’ll revel in 10 magnificent classics, all beautifully recorded under the baton of Maestro Cal Stewart Kellogg with the Arizona Opera Orchestra. The marvelously talented selection of featured singers includes renowned soprano and Pullin Opera Studio alumna, Sarah Tucker, internationally celebrated tenor, Santiago Ballerini, and current Pullin Opera Studio members Rob McGinness (baritone), Cheyanne Coss (soprano), Mack Wolz (mezzo soprano), Caitlin Gotimer (soprano), and Terrence Chin-Loy (tenor).
Arizona Arias Episode 2 will premiere on Sunday, April 11 at 6 PM MST and be available on an on-going basis thereafter. Orders to view it may be placed at ondemand.azopera.org beginning Friday, April 9 at 6 AM MST for a purchase price of $20.
Episode 1:
Arizona Arias Episode 1 will premiere virtually on Sunday, March 14 at 6 PM PDT, and will feature performances by operatic baritone and Tony Award-winner, Paulo Szot, Members of the Marion Roose Pullin Opera Studio, and the Arizona Opera Orchestra. Conducted by Cal Stewart Kellogg. Christopher Cano- Pianist.
