(Phoenix, Tucson) Never before seen on the Arizona Opera stage, Verdi's Falstaff comes to life in this new production opening April Fools' Day. Irascible, randy and boastful, John Falstaff concocts a scheme to seduce the wealthy Wives of Windsor and nab their riches. His plot quickly unravels in a series of elaborate pranks as the clever women enlist everyone to outwit the old rascal.  Based on the Shakespearean character, Falstaff was Verdi's final opera, and some consider his finest.

(Phoenix, Tucson, Ariz.) The man, the myth and the legend. Mozart's Don Giovanni comes to the Arizona Opera stage February 26-28 in Symphony Hall in Phoenix and March 5-6 in Tucson Music Hall.  Don Giovanni is sung in Italian with English supertitles.

General Director Ryan Taylor and Arizona Opera announce its 45th Anniversary Season with classics and the first fully-commissioned world premiere in the company's history.  This season marks a major step for the company's Arizona Bold artistic initiative as it announces the creation of a new piece, Riders of the Purple Sage to be performed in the spring of 2017.

The holiday season in Phoenix now includes music from Arizona Opera and the Phoenix Theatre! Singers from Arizona Opera will perform selections from memorable holiday movie favorites such as White Christmas, Miracle on 34th Street, and A Charlie Brown Christmas at the Phoenix Theatre.
