Set in the idyllic village of Nagasaki, Japan, an innocent geisha's love for an American naval officer leads to the ultimate heartbreak and tragedy. Considered Puccini's greatest masterpiece, Madama Butterfly takes audiences to the pinnacles and depths of human emotion, rightfully securing its place in the heavens.

Green Valley Madama Butterfly Feast

Your hosts for this Feast of Asian tastes are Fred Fox, Mel Mounts, and Cheri and Russ Smith.  The Feast will be held at Fred’s home. In addition to the fabulous menu, there be entertainment featuring opera soloists who will sing arias from Madame Butterfly and guests will join them in performing the “Humming Chorus” from the opera.  There will also be a traditional Japanese tea ceremony.
